Sustained Behavioural Change
There are several key elements required to achieve sustained behavioural change, for example:
| • | Aligning the business goals and key performance indicators to the desired program outcomes. |
| • | Coaching Management on how to communicate the what, why, how and expectations from the program before the program commences. |
| • | Involving Managers at the beginning and after each program/session. |
| • | Delivering aligned, practical and engaging programs. |
| • | Providing program feedback and recommendations for future learning and development planning. |
| • | On-going training initiatives, continued encouragement on the job and feedback from Management. |
| • | Participant responsibility, awareness and acceptance with the necessary support to elicit change. |

Adults learn through discovery. All programs are delivered through a 4-part learning process:
| • | Aligning the business goals and key performance indicators to the desired program outcomes. |
| • | Preparation (arousal of interest) |
| • | Presentation (encounter of new information or skill) |
| • | Practice (integration of that new information or skill) |
| • | Performance (application of that new information or skill) |
Agreed at Stage 1 – Management involvement and needs analysis
Critical considerations when deciding on the duration of an aligned and tailored training solution include:
| • | Topic –some programs require a heightened level of practice and feedback |
| • | Number of people who would benefit from the training initiative |
| • | Other training initiatives planned to support a specific topic. |
| • | Budget and logistics |
| • | Balancing theory and practical application |
| • | Aligning the content to the desired learning outcomes |

Every training solution is tailored to reach specific outcomes, typically, the duration of training initiatives can be delivered as follows:
